  • 250 gms apf( maida)

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

  • 3-4 tbsp ghee

  • 1 cups for stuffing- green split lentil

  • 1 tsp salt (according to taste)

  • 1/8 tsp asafetida

  • 1 tbsp coriander powder

  • 1 tsp fennal seed powder

  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1 tsp dry mango powder

  • 1/4 nos cumin

  • 2-3 tbsp oil

  • Oil 300 ml

  • 300 gms for dum aloo- boiled potato

  • 2-3 tbsp oil

  • 2 pinch asafetida

  • 1/2 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp dry mango powder

  • 2 tsp kasoori methi

  • 2-3 nos green chilli

  • 1 tsp spice powder- coriander powder

  • 1/2 tsp garam masala

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 4-5 tbsp sweet tamarind and jeggery chutney for serving


  • Add maida, salt ,ghee and soda in mixing bowl mix well all ingredients with ur finger tips add water and make soft dough. Spread some oil top of dough cover with cloth keep aside about 10-15 min.
  • Soak the green lentil 4-5 hour(over night. This is the 1st step of rcp) .
  • Put a pan on flame add oil heat it add asafetida and cumin now add soaked lentil add salt and turmeric add 1 glass water.
  • Cook the lentil when fully cook snd water absorbed completely add all spice powder and mash the mixture.
  • Now roast well the pitthi adjust salt chilli n spice according to ur taste. switch off the flame.
  • Now take dough knead again and set the dough. Make small balls.
  • Now flat the balls and stuff the stuffing n make all flat kachoories.
  • Take a deep kadhai on flame add oil for frying hot the oil fry the kachoori on medium slow flame until turn crispy golden . take out in the plate.
  • For dum aloo - put oil in kadhai add asafetida n cumin .
  • Add disdolve spice powder , salt roast until left the oil.
  • Add boiled n roughly chop potato add water and cook 10-15min .
  • Lastly add kasoori methi and dry mango powder . Switch off the flame.
  • Serve the kachoori with dum aloo n tamarind jeggery sweet chutney.
