Preparation of Til Mava laddoos is a tradition in our family on the auspicious and festive occasions.
These melt-in-the-mouth laddoos are made with white sesame seeds, khowa/mava and sugar.
Til is rich in iron and also keeps us warm in winters.

Ingredients
Serves : 15
250 gms til/ sesame seeds (white til)
250 gms mava
350 gms boora/ powdered sugar
1 tbsp chopped dry fruits like pistachios and cashews (optional)
1/2 tsp green cardamom powder
Directions
Roast the til to a light brown shade.
Start at high and then turn the flame on low to roast til, keep turning them continuously.
Leave them aside to cool.
In a nonstick pan cook mava for around 5 minutes.
Switch off the gas when mava comes together.
While the mava is cooling down grind the til to a coarse mixture.
Add til, cardamom powder and powdered sugar to the mava and mix thoroughly.
Shape into walnut sized round balls to make laddoos.
Arrange the Til khowa Laddoos in a plate and garnish with chopped pistachios and its ready to serve.
