  • 1 cups chickpeas/chhole

  • 3 cups water

  • 1/2 cups sugar or as per taste

  • 1 tsp cardamom powder

  • 1/4 cups mava/khoya

  • 1/4 cups ghee/clarified butter

  • 2 nos wark sheets

  • 2 tbsp chopped almonds


  • soak chickpeas in water for 7-8hours;after 7-8hours remove extra water
  • grind soaked chickpeas to a coarse paste
  • heat ghee in a pan add paste of chickpeas in it and cook for 4-5minutes
  • when mixture changed its color and raw smell of chickpeas is goes off and mava and sugar mix well and cook for another few minutes
  • when sugar get melted completly and mixture is combined add cardamom powder mix well and switch off the flame remove mixture in a vessel
  • add chopped almonds in it
  • prepare laddoos from this mixture garnish with silver warak and serve
