  • 2 cups besan / gram flour

  • 1 1/4 cups sugar

  • 1 tsp cardamom powder

  • 1/2 cups ghee


  • Powder the sugar.
  • Heat ghee and add flour, stir well .
  • On a medium flame roast until besan turns aromatic and gets dark golden colour.
  • When ghee begins to separate remove it from the pan and let it cool a little bit.
  • Add powdered sugar, cardamom powder and mix well.
  • Grease hand and make ladoo's. ( If the mixture is dry add more ghee so that the flour can bind well)
  • Serve as you like and store in an airtight container.
