Ingredients

Serves 8

  • rainsins 8-10 nos

  • milk 6 cups

  • badam chopped 5 nos

  • cardamom powder 1 tsp

  • grated coconut 30 gms

  • makhana 2 cups

  • milkmaid tin 1/2 nos

  • ghee 1 tsp

Directions

    Fry makhana in ghee and crush coarsely. In a pan mix crushed makhana and milk and simmer on slow fire for 5-10 mins.

    Add grated coconut and continue to cook for another few minutes with frequent stirring, till creamy and little thick.

  • 03

    Add MILKMAID (Sweetened Condensed Milk) and cook for another 5 mins , till the desired consistency is reached.

    Add cardamom powder.

  • 05

    Makhana kheer is ready to eat. serbe hot or chilled.
