Ingredients

Serves 20

  • Sesame seeds: 1 cups

  • Jaggery: 3/4 cups

  • Dried coconut flakes: 3 tbsp

  • Ghee: 2 tbsp

Directions

    Heat a pan, add 1 n 1/2 tbsp of ghee.

    Add sesame seeds and saute till it turns golden brown. Keep stirring on low flame.

    Transfer the seeds from the wok and keep aside.

  • 04

    In the same pan add jaggery with 3 tbsp of water and let it cook, stirring intermittently for 5 mins. The jaggery should become semi thick in consistency.

    Now add the roasted sesame seeds and dried coconut flakes and mix well.

    Remove from flame, keep it for a minute.

  • 07

    Start making ladoos/ balls immediately before it gets cool.

  • 08

    Grease your palms with ghee while making the ladoos.

  • 09

    Let the ladoos sit for some time and cool and store in air tight container.
