We get tired from hectic schedule a much needed brek is required. And want to have full relax from no cooking too. But still we can cook a quick recipe within no time. Herecomes the simple recipe of Lacha Parantha with yummy and Simple Sesame Potatoes.

  • Sesame Potatoes::- Boiled potatoes 5

  • Cumin 1/2 teaspoon

  • Ginger Garlic paste 1 tablespoon

  • Sesame seeds 1.5 tablespoon

  • Coriander powder 1 5 tablespoon

  • Salt 1/2 teaspoon or to taste

  • Red chilly 1 teaspoon

  • Turmeric 1 teaspoon

  • Dry Ginger (Amchoor) powder 1 tablespoon

  • fresh coriander 1 fist for garnishing

  • For Lacha Parantha: All purpose flour - 3 cups

  • Water – 1 cup or less

  • Butter/ghee 5 tablespoon or as required

  • Salt 1/4 teaspoon or to taste


  • Heat oil in a wok. Add Cumin. When it starts crackling add potatoes.
  • Cook till potatoes get golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add sesame seeds. , Salt, coriander red chilli and rest of the ingredients.
  • Cook for 1-2 minutes and garnish with fresh coriander.
  • Lacha Parantha :In a mixing bowl add flour, salt.
  • Now add water slowly and knead soft dough.
  • Grease the dough with a very little amount of oil and cover it with muslin cloth. Rest it for 15- 20 minutes.
  • Now lightly punch the dough and Divide 6 equal portions.
  • Grease oil on the flat surface, Take one portion of the dough and roll as thin sheet in any shape.
  • Apply little oil over the thin sheet and fold it & stretch a bit.
  • Roll it in a round shape. And using rolling pin flattens it or patt it with hands.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in pan, cook this paratha from both side till light golden color.
