In a heavy bottom pan add 1 tsp ghee and roast the cashew and raisins. take that and keep aside in a bowl
In the same pan dry roast the semolina till the semolina aroma occurs.
Transfer that into a plate. Add 2 cups of water into the same heavy bottom pan.
Add 1 tsp ghee and 1 pinch salt into the water and bring it to boil.
Add cardamom and also add the sooji and mix well to avoid lumps.
Once the sooji cooked well add the sugar and stir well.
Add the remaining ghee to the halwa and stir well till the ghee separates at the sides of the pan.
Finally add the roasted cashew and raisin in to the halwa
Transfer it to the plate and serve!!
