Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 2 tbsp ghee


  • 2 cups grated carrots tightly packed


  • 1/2 cup milk


  • 1/4 cup sugar adjust


  • 2 tbsp chopped nuts


  • 1/4 cup milk powder


  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder

Directions

  • Heat ghee in a pan and roast carrots
  • Saute for 5 minutes. Add milk and mix well
  • Cook for 5 minutes or until carrots are soft
  • Add sugar and mix well
  • Add milk powder and mix well until lump free
  • Add cardamom powder and mix well
  • Cook until mixture starts leaving sides of the pan
  • Transfer mixture into prepared greased dish
  • Level evenly into a block
  • Garnish top with chopped nuts and rest aside until completely set
  • Slice and serve. Store in airtight container upto 3 days
