  • 500 gram maida

  • 1 cup semolina

  • 1/2 ajwine

  • 1/4 spoon onion seeds

  • 1 spoon salt

  • 4 spoon ghee

  • 3 cup Oil for frying


  • Mix maida, semolina, ajwine, onion seeds, salt and ghee to get a crumbly texture hold flour in hand.
  • Knead the dough with little water and keep aside for 15 minutes.
  • After that take a ball size dough roll it with rolling pin and with the help of a cookie cutter cut it in round shape.
  • Make hole with fork in it.
  • Now heat oil in a wok and fry them at midium flame till they turn golden brown in colour from all sides.
  • Enjoy this crispy mathri with tea.
