Ingredients

  • ghee 2 cups

  • wholemeal flour 2 cups

  • semolina 1/2 cups

  • goond (tragacanth gum) 1 cups

  • mawa (khoya) 1 cups

  • evaporated milk 1/4 cups

  • elaichi (cardamon powder) 1 tsp

  • zaiphul (nutmeg) powder 1/2 tsp

  • soonth (dry ginger) powder o kantlo 1 tsp

  • chaat masala 1/4 tsp

  • jaggery 1 3/4 cups

  • For decorating: almonds (flakes) 1/2 cups

  • khuskhus (poppy seeds) 1 tsp

  • wariari (fennel seeds) 1 tbsp

  • pistachios (flakes) 1/2 cups

Directions

  • 01

    Pound goond coarsely not powdered den fry dem in ghee, kip aside.

    in de same ghee roast flour n sooji til pinkish brown color n aroma arises, add jaggery, stir until it melts

  • 03

    add evaporated milk, mawa n dry it up den add nutmeg, chaat masala and cardomon powder mix well den remuv from flame....

    add fried goond mix well den pour on greased tray

  • 05

    use flat back of steel bowl to level de goondpaak.

    sprinkle almonds pistas poppy seeds n fennel seeds press wid de bowl

  • 07

    cut goondpaak n let it cool, remuv squares.
