Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1 cups gram flour or besan


  • 1 1/2 cups water for batter


  • 1 tbsp semolina or sooji


  • 1 tbsp melon seed


  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder


  • 4-6 nos saffron


  • 1 cups for sugar syrup: sugar


  • 1/2 cups water


  • 1 nos oil for frying

Directions

  • Mix all ingredients except oil in a bowl. And make like pakoda batter.
  • Heat oil in a kadai. Pour batter in strainer spread with hand and fry in medium hot oil
  • When boondis are done take out in a plate. Let it cool.
  • Make sugar syrup of two thread consistently.
  • Add sugar syrup in boondi, and start making round shaped laddoo when it is warm.
  • Garnish with silver leaf.
