Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 cups for dough- wheat flour


  • 1/2 tbsp clarified butter(ghee)


  • 1 tbsp milk


  • 3/4 cups water for kneading dough


  • 1/2 kgs for carrot halwa -carrot


  • 1 cups milk


  • 2-3 tbsp sugar


  • 1/2 cups mawa


  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder


  • 1 cups for peas (mutter halwa) fresh mutter


  • 2-3 tbsp sugar


  • 1 cups milk


  • 1/4 cups mawa


  • 1 tbsp ghee


  • 1/4 tsp cardamom pwdr


  • 1 cups for sweet poha : poha


  • 1 tbsp sugar


  • 1/2 tbsp ghee


  • 1/4 tsp cardamom p.


  • 1 tbsp ghee for making parantha

Directions

  • First take a bowl and put all the dough ingredients and knead a medium soft dough.
  • Now cover it and keep aside for 15 minutes.
  • Carrot halwa-heat milk in a wide and heavy bottom vessel.
  • Now add grated carrot and cook till milk is completely evaporated .
  • Now add sugar, mawa,Cardamom powder and cook till you get halwa consistency.
  • Peas halwa-heat ghee in a wok.
  • Add peas paste and cook on medium flame for 10 minutes.
  • Now add cardamom powder and milk.
  • Now cook it till milk is completely evaporated.
  • Now add mawa and sugar and cook till you get halwa consistency.
  • Switch off the flame and cool it completely.
  • Sweet poha-first wash poha and drained out e xtra water and keep aside.
  • Now heat ghee in a wok.
  • Add socked poha and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Now add cardamom powder and sugar and mix well.
  • Now cover with lid and cook on slow flame for 2-3mins.
  • Now switch off the flame and cool it completely.
  • Making parantha-make 4 equal size balls with dough and roll them with rolling pin.
  • Take one chapati apply ghee .now spread sweet poha over to it and cover with another chappati and seal the corners. Heat nonstick tawa.place the poha parantha on tawa and cook both sides. Now take out in a plate. Now spread peas halwa on one side and cover with another chappati and seal the corners. Now flip it and spread carrot halwa on it and cover with another chappati. Now layered parantha is ready for cook.now heat the nonstick tawa.place the layered parantha on it and apply some ghee. Cook both sides till Brown and crispy. Now take out in a plate and cut into pieces and serve hot.
