  • 2 cups poha

  • 1/4 cups groundnuts

  • 3/4 cups jaggery

  • 2 tbsp water( require to mix with jaggery)

  • 1/4 cups water


  • Roast the ground nuts in a kadai in low flame for 5 minutes and keep them aside.
  • In the same kadai roast the poha/ flattened rice in low flame till it becomes cripsy and keep it also aside.
  • After cooling down remove the husk of the groundnuts.
  • Heat the same kadai and put the jaggery in it along with the water.
  • The jaggery now starts melting. Check it's consistency by mixing a drop with water . When it is little bit hard then add the poha and groundnuts and mix it well.
  • Switch off the flame and make small laddoos of the mixture .
  • Make the laddoos while the mixture is hot otherwise you don't make the laddoos properly.
  • Now the laddoos are ready to serve or put them in an airtight container for longer use.
