  • 1 cups refined flour

  • 3/4 cups desi ghee

  • 1 pinch salt

  • 1 1/2 cups for 1 cup sugar syrup : sugar

  • 1 cups water

  • 1 tbsp pista for garnish

  • 500 gms oil for frying

  • 3 nos silver vark if you like for garnish


  • First take a Big Bowl add refined flour.
  • Mix salt in it.
  • Now half cup ghee Pour in refined flour and rub with help of palm.
  • Make it like bread crumbs.
  • Bind this with help of milk.
  • Don't kneed this dough like chapati dough.
  • Only bind the mixture.
  • Make 4 chapati with this material by using your hand.
  • Put one chapati and spread some Desi Ghee over it.
  • put another chapati over this chapati and spread ghee over it.
  • Again put one chapati over these two chapatis and spread Desi Ghee over it.
  • In the last put last chapati and some ghee over it.
  • Now make a roll of these chapatis.
  • Cut this role for make Balushahi peda.
  • Press every peda in middle by thumb.
  • Fry Balushahi in medium hot oil on slow flame.
  • When cook from one side flip it.
  • When become pink take it out
  • Before frying Balushahi make sugar syrup.
  • Sugar syrup add sugar and water bring to boil.
  • Add elaichi powder and after one string consistency switch off the flame.
  • Put fried Balushahi in warm sugar syrup.
  • After 2 hour put it out and Garnish with pista.
