Ingredients
Serves 5
Milk 1 litre
Sugar as your taste 1 cups
Custard powder vanilla flavored 1 1/2 tbsp
Almonds finely chopped 6-8 nos
Pistachios finely chopped 6-8 nos
Cashew finely chopped 6-8 nos
Kesar strandssoaked in 1tbsp water or milk 4-5 nos
Directions
Take milk in a heavy bottomed vessel, and let it boil on a medium flame for 5-8 min.
Add chopped badam, cashew, and pistachios and boil it for 5-8 min. Add saffron strands also.
Now in a small bowl, take custard powder and add half cup milk to it. Mix well so that no lumps are formed. Add this custard mix slowly to boiling milk, and keep stirring the milk so that no lumps are formed.
Now, add sugar and cook it for 5 min till the mixture become thick.
Turn off the flame and let it cool down to room temperature.
Pour it in a bottle and keep it in refrigerator.
Serve chilled and enjoy.
You can even garnish it with some chopped pistachios. You can also serve chilled milk in a kulladh or a glass. You can also add a scoop of ice-cream to it to make it more yummylicious.
Note: If you like elaichi, so you can add that too in milk. Do not add too much custard powder as it will become thick like custard.
