Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 cups chick peas (kabuli chana) soaked for 4hrs den boiled in salt n 1/2 tsp soda bicarbonate


  • 1 nos onion (chopped)


  • 3 nos tomatoes (chopped)


  • 1 tsp garlic (pounded)


  • 1 tsp ginger (pounded)


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1-2 tsp chilli powder


  • 1 tsp garam masala


  • 1/4 tsp ajwain/carrom powder


  • 1/4 tsp fennel powder


  • 1 nos lemon juice


  • 8-10 nos few curry leaves (chopped)


  • 1/2 tsp corriander powder


  • 2 tsp few cloves n black pepper corns


  • 4 tbsp tomato puree

Directions

  • in a pot put 4 tbsp oil o ghee add curry leaves, cloves n black pepper n onions n braise it til pinkish brown color.
  • add tomatoes n spices cook til a paste formed add tomato puree, 1 cup of boiled chana water n ol chana.
  • sprinkle some garam masala n cook til it thickens.
  • wen serving garnish wid chopped onions, corriander leaves n green chillies wid lemon slices.
