Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Chick peas (Kabuli Chana) soaked for 4hrs den boiled in salt n 1/2 tsp soda bicarbonate 2 cups

  • onion (chopped) 1 nos

  • tomatoes (chopped) 3 nos

  • garlic (pounded) 1 tsp

  • ginger (pounded) 1 tsp

  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

  • chilli powder 1-2 tsp

  • garam masala 1 tsp

  • ajwain/carrom powder 1/4 tsp

  • fennel powder 1/4 tsp

  • lemon juice 1 nos

  • few curry leaves (chopped) 8-10 nos

  • corriander powder 1/2 tsp

  • few cloves n black pepper corns 2 tsp

  • tomato puree 4 tbsp

Directions

  • 01

    in a pot put 4 tbsp oil o ghee add curry leaves, cloves n black pepper n onions n braise it til pinkish brown color.

    add tomatoes n spices cook til a paste formed add tomato puree, 1 cup of boiled chana water n ol chana.

    sprinkle some garam masala n cook til it thickens.

    wen serving garnish wid chopped onions, corriander leaves n green chillies wid lemon slices.
