  • 250 gms homemade paneer or chena

  • 1 cups powder sugar or as per taste

  • 1 tsp green cardamom powder

  • 4 tsp gulkand

  • 1/2 cups betel leaf or paan paste

  • 1 tsp fennel powder

  • 2-3 drop green food colour (optional)

  • 1 tsp ghee for greasing

  • 1-2 nos sandesh mould


  • Combine Paneer or chena, paan paste and gulkand in a mixer grimder jar and make a smooth paste, do not add water.
  • Now add green cardamom powder, powder sugar, fennel powder and green food colour with the paste and mix it well.
  • Now take the mixture in a non stick pan and cook it on a low flame till the mixture forms a dough.
  • Remove it from the flame and let it cool down.
  • Knead it for 1 or 2 minutes and make small equal size balls .
  • Take the sandesh mould and grease it with ghee.
  • Place the paneer balls into the sandesh mould and press it carefully .
  • Now serve it .
