Homemade paneer or chena 250 gms
Powder sugar or as per taste 1 cups
Green cardamom powder 1 tsp
Gulkand 4 tsp
Betel leaf or Paan paste 1/2 cups
Fennel Powder 1 tsp
Green food colour (optional) 2-3 drop
Ghee for greasing 1 tsp
Sandesh mould 1-2 nos
Combine Paneer or chena, paan paste and gulkand in a mixer grimder jar and make a smooth paste, do not add water.
Now add green cardamom powder, powder sugar, fennel powder and green food colour with the paste and mix it well.
Now take the mixture in a non stick pan and cook it on a low flame till the mixture forms a dough.
Remove it from the flame and let it cool down.
Knead it for 1 or 2 minutes and make small equal size balls .
Take the sandesh mould and grease it with ghee.
Place the paneer balls into the sandesh mould and press it carefully .
Now serve it .
