Ingredients

Serves 18

  • moongdal soaked 1 cups

  • sugar 1 cups

  • mava 1 cups

  • ghee 1 cups

  • water 2 cups

  • reddish orange color 4-5 drop

  • cardamom powder 1 tsp

Directions

    Grind moongdal without using water

  • 02

    Heat ghee in a non stick pan and add grinded dal to it

  • 03

    Roast it till golden brown and ghee oozes out

  • 04

    Meanwhile make sugar syrup for this boil sugar and water till sugar dissolve

    Add colour and cardamom powder and let it boil for 2-3 minutes

  • 06

    Add this syrup to roasted dal and mix it

  • 07

    Add mava in this stage and mix it till it comes together and form a lump

  • 08

    Transfer this batter in the greased tray and let it rest for 1-2 hrs

  • 09

    Cut in desire pieces and put silver leaf on it
