Soak both lentils either overnight or for 4 hours. and drain in colander.
Grind both by adding 1-2 tbsp of of water in batches.
Make a little thick consistency batter and beat it for 5 minutes to make it fluffy.
Add asafoetida, raisibs, ginger and salt. Incorporate all well.
Take a teaspoon full of batter and deep fry vadas.
Soak vadas in warm water for 15-20 minutes. Press gently in your palms to squeeze excess water.
Place in plate ,pour curd on it, add chutneys , chaat masala, pomegranate seeds. Rock salt and serve.
