Ingredients

Serves 4

  • desiccated coconut 2 cups

  • milk 1.5 cups

  • sugar or as per taste 3/4 cups

  • cashews chopped 2 tbsp

  • cardamom powder 1/4 tsp

  • desiccated coconut for rolling 4 tbsp

Directions

    in a large Pan add two cups coconut and 1.5 cups milk

  • 02

    mix well making sure coconut gets wet completely

  • 03

    add sugar and mix well

  • 04

    mix continuously over low heat until sugar dissolves and mixture is watery

  • 05

    keep staring over low heat until water evaporates and mixture is crumbly it should take around 20 minutes

  • 06

    cool the mixture for 10 minutes and cashews and cardamom mix well cool for another 5 minutes

  • 07

    shape the mixture into laddoos roll over desiccated coconut

  • 08

    store in air tight container serve as required, the ladoos will remain fresh for one week
