Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 500 gms bhindi (okra)


  • 1 kgs goat meat


  • 2 tsp oil


  • 1 cups water


  • 2 nos onion


  • 3-5 nos garlic


  • 3-4 nos tomatoes


  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste


  • 1 tsp red chili powder


  • 1.5 tsp garam masala


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder


  • 2 cups oil for frying


  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander


  • 1/2 nos lime, squeezed


  • 1/2 inch ginger, sliced - for garnishing

Directions

  • Heat your pressure cooker on high and sear the meat in the 2 teaspoon of oil
  • Add in the tomatoes, 1 sliced medium onion, garlic, tomatoes, and spices.
  • Pressure cook on high for 25-30 minutes or until the meat is tender
  • Heat up the 2 cups of oil for frying and fry the okra for 8-10 minutes
  • Drain on a paper towel lined plate when done
  • Remove oil from the pan where you fried the okra
  • Add in the pressure cooked meat and liquid and reduce for another 8-10 minutes
  • Add in the 1/2 sliced onion, fried okra, cilantro, and chili
  • Heat on low heat covered for a few minutes
  • Top with a squeeze of lemon juice & serve with Naan , roti.
