  • khoya/mawa 250 gms

  • brown sugar (Patanjali) 200 gms

  • Elaichi powder 1/2 tsp

  • Ghee 2 tsp

  • milk 4 tsp

    Mathura ke pede is a popular sweet of North India. It is made in many ways. It is so easy to make & tasty too. Normally people made it with white sugar powder but I have made it using brown sugar.

    Heat Kadhai. Saute khoya till light brown and leaves Ghee. Then add ghee or milk. Saute again until milk or ghee mix well. Switch off gas. Let it cool down.

    Then add ellaychi powder and 150 gm sugar. Keep 50 gm sugar aside for coating.

    Mix sugar & ellaychi powder in khoya. Mix well.

    Make lemon size balls & give the shape of peda.

    Coat these peda in brown sugar

    Mathura ke pede is ready. Keep it in fridge for 1 hour before serving.
