Ingredients

Serves 15

  • 1 cup homemade khoya /mawa

  • 1/2 cup grated jaggery

  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder

  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg powder (jaiphal)

  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon powder (Dalchini)

  • 5-8 Cashews & 5-8 raisins for garnish

Directions

    Assemble all ingredients.

  • 02

    Add khoya in a nonstick pan.

  • 03

    Saute on slow flame until light brown..

  • 04

    Add all ingredients.

  • 05

    Stir continuously till moisture reduces.

  • 06

    Once khoya and jaggery leaves Ghee. Turn off gas. Let it cool.

    Take lemon size ball of mixture shape modak/ peda or put them in chocolate mould.

  • 08

    Keep them in fridge for 15-20 minutes to set. De mould them garnish with cashews and raisins.
