1 cup homemade khoya /mawa
1/2 cup grated jaggery
1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
1/8 tsp nutmeg powder (jaiphal)
1/2 tsp Cinnamon powder (Dalchini)
5-8 Cashews & 5-8 raisins for garnish
Assemble all ingredients.
Add khoya in a nonstick pan.
Saute on slow flame until light brown..
Add all ingredients.
Stir continuously till moisture reduces.
Once khoya and jaggery leaves Ghee. Turn off gas. Let it cool.
Take lemon size ball of mixture shape modak/ peda or put them in chocolate mould.
Keep them in fridge for 15-20 minutes to set. De mould them garnish with cashews and raisins.
