Ingredients

Serves 6

  • All purpose flour 1.5 cups

  • Sugar 1/2 tsp

  • Curd 1.5 tsp

  • Ghee 1/4 cups

  • Oil 1/8 cups

  • Cooking soda 2 pinch

  • Water 1/4 cups

  • Oil (for frying) 2 cups

  • For the syrup :Sugar 1 cups

  • Water 1/2 cups

  • Cardamom (crushed) 2 nos

  • Lemon juice 1/2 nos

Directions

    Mix the Ghee, Oil, Curd, sugar, soda together to form a paste.

    Now add the flour into it along with water, knead a medium soft dough.

    Rest the dough for 10 minutes. Mean while make a sugar syrup of one string consistency using the sugar and water.

    Add crushed CARDAMOM to it.

  • 05

    Add the lemon juice to the syrup , stir and switch off the flame.

    Now divide the dough into 12 lemon sized balls.

    Pinch the edge of each ball bringing inside to the form the badusha.

    Deep fry them in ample amount of Oil, in medium to low heat.

    Serve.
