Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1.5 cups all purpose flour


  • 1/2 tsp sugar


  • 1.5 tsp curd


  • 1/4 cups ghee


  • 1/8 cups oil


  • 2 pinch cooking soda


  • 1/4 cups water


  • 2 cups oil (for frying)


  • 1 cups for the syrup :sugar


  • 1/2 cups water


  • 2 nos cardamom (crushed)


  • 1/2 nos lemon juice

Directions

  • Mix the Ghee, Oil, Curd, sugar, soda together to form a paste.
  • Now add the flour into it along with water, knead a medium soft dough.
  • Rest the dough for 10 minutes. Mean while make a sugar syrup of one string consistency using the sugar and water.
  • Add crushed CARDAMOM to it.
  • Add the lemon juice to the syrup , stir and switch off the flame.
  • Now divide the dough into 12 lemon sized balls.
  • Pinch the edge of each ball bringing inside to the form the badusha.
  • Deep fry them in ample amount of Oil, in medium to low heat.
  • Serve.
