Ingredients

Serves : 10
  • 500 gms all purpose flour


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1/2 tsp black salt


  • 1 tsp carrom seeds (ajwain)


  • 5-6 tsp ghee/oil


  • 500 gms oil for deep fry


  • 1/2 tsp black pepper crushed


  • 1 tsp chat masala

Directions

  • Sieve all purpose flour. Add salts, pepper, ghee, carrom seeds. Mix all properly. Add required water and knead tight dough.
  • Keep rest for 20 minutes.
  • Divide into 4-5 equal portions. Make balls .
  • Flatten with roller pin. Roll thick roti. Cut into 2 inches strips.
  • Heat oil in a wok. Once oil heated. Deep fry these namak pare on medium heat until golden and crispy.
  • Sprinkle chat masala over it.
  • Once cooled store in a air tight container.
