Ingredients

Serves : 15
  • 1 cups khoya/mawa


  • 1 cups roasted chickpea (bhuni chana dal)


  • 1 cups grated jaggery


  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg powder


  • 8-10 nos green cardamoms


  • 2-3 tsp desicatted coconut


  • 2-3 tsp ghee

Directions

  • Grind Chana Dal in Mixer grinder.
  • Heat ghee in a wok. Roast khoya until golden brown.
  • Add jaggery, chana dal powder, cardamom powder, nutmeg powder. Mix all properly. Stir continuously until whole mixture leaves the sides of wok.
  • Grease tray with ghee. Transfer mixture in tray. Spread it evenly with spatula. Garnish coconut powder. Cut into diamond pieces.
  • Rest it for 1-2 hrs. Serve instant Chana Barfi.
