Ingredients

Serves 15

  • khoya/mawa 1 cups

  • roasted chickpea (bhuni Chana Dal) 1 cups

  • grated jaggery 1 cups

  • nutmeg powder 1/4 tsp

  • green cardamoms 8-10 nos

  • desicatted coconut 2-3 tsp

  • ghee 2-3 tsp

Directions

    Grind Chana Dal in Mixer grinder.

    Heat ghee in a wok. Roast khoya until golden brown.

    Add jaggery, chana dal powder, cardamom powder, nutmeg powder. Mix all properly. Stir continuously until whole mixture leaves the sides of wok.

    Grease tray with ghee. Transfer mixture in tray. Spread it evenly with spatula. Garnish coconut powder. Cut into diamond pieces.

    Rest it for 1-2 hrs. Serve instant Chana Barfi.
