Ingredients
Serves 4
Alloo (boiled and finally mashed) 500 gms
Corn Flour 50 gms
Channa dal (soak 5 hour) 1/4 cups
Maah dhuli dal (soak 5 hour) 1/4 cups
Paneer ( cut in to small pieces) 50 gms
Hari mirch ( cut into smal pieces) 2 nos
Zeera 1 tsp
Chaat Masala 1/2 tsp
Haldi 1/2 tsp
Hing 1 tsp
Chilli Flacks 1 tbsp
Bread crumbs 2 tbsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Oil for deep fry 2 cups
pithi 1 cups
Directions
PITHI :- take 3 teaspoon oil in a pan
Heat on medium flame
Add cumin and let it crackel.
Add both dal stir well.
Cover and leave for 5-7 minutes on slow flame (don't add water)
Stir between and add green chilli .
stir for 2 minutes.
Add cheese and stir.
Add salt, haldi, hing. chaat masala...stir for 2 minuts
Switch off the flame...let the pithi cool.
Heat oil for frying tikki in medium flame (take some heavy platform kadahi)
Tikki
Take mashed aloo, Add corn flour, Add chilli flacks (optionally).
Add salt and Mix well.
Grease you palm
Take aloo ...add pithi and make a ladoo
Press slightly in your palms coat with bread crumbs
Check oil temperature. ..put a small boll of aloo to check oil temperature
Add tikki and fry on high flame
I always server with hari chatani, khati-mithi chatani, curd,white channa and onion -radish salad
