Ingredients

  • Puris: 1) 1 cup Sooji (Semolina) 2) 1 cup Maida (All purpose flour) 3) lil Salt 4) 1 tsp Oil 5) 1/4 tsp Soda Bicarbonate or Eno fruit salt 6) 1/2 tsp Lemon juice Paani: 1) 1/2 cup Tamarind pulp (boiled wid dates, sugar n water) 2) 1 bunch Mint leaves 3) 1/4 bunch Corriander leaves 4) pinch of Salt 5) 2-3 tbsp Sugar 6) 3 Green Chillies 7) pinch of Black salt (optional) 8} 1/2 tsp Cummin powder Filling: 1) 2 Boiled Potatoes (cubed finely) 2) Boiled Moong (Bean Sprouts) or Chana (Gram) 3) 1 Onion (chopped) 4) 1 cup unsweetened Boondi (optional)

    Puris: Mix dry ingredients well add oil n kip on mixing.... add few drops of water n bind add lil mo do not put much of water as u nid nt soft or hard dough.... bind til dough is hard enuf to roll n kip aside for hlf n hr cover wid damp kitchen towel.... mek 2-3 balls of dough n roll thin roti, de rest of balls shud b covered... use round cutter to get ol evn puris.... cover yor puris.... deep fry on low o med flame, put one n mek sure puffs up den add anoder til u gt 6-7 puris, mek it golden brown color n crisped up... remuv on strainer.... Paani: Blend ol wid water n kip in fridge to chill... it shud b very chilled NB: hotness n sourness is ttly upto hw u prefer.... bt it shud b hot, sweet n sour
