  • 1 cups maida/all purpose flour

  • 1 cups sugar

  • 1 pinch salt

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 3 tsp curd/yoghurt

  • 4 tsp milk

  • 1/2 cups water

  • 2 dash lemon juice

  • 1/2 cups nuts(for garnishing)

  • 2 nos cardamom


  • In a large bowl add all purpose flour,ghee,baking soda,curd,salt and milk. Mix them all well
  • Gradually add water and make it all into a tight dough.
  • Take a small part from the dough and make a small sized ball. Give a press in the centre using your finger..
  • In pan add sugar and water. Stir well till it gets one string consistency.
  • Add cardamom leaves. Finally after switch off the flame add lemon drops. keep aside
  • In another pan add oil and fry all the badusha one by one. make sure that oil is in medium heat.
  • Fry both sides till it gets golden brown color.
  • Take the badusha from oil and put into the sugar syrup. Make sure that sugar syrup is little hot while dipping the badushas.
  • Dip it for 3 to 4 mins and keep in a plate for serving.
  • Finally add the chopped nuts on the top of badushas
  • Tip: the dough should be tight consistency. If you separate the dough into two parts,you will get layers in between.
