  • Besan 4 cups Ghee 4 tbsp Milk 4 tbsp Ghee 2 cups Sugar 2 n 1/2 cup Water 1 n 1/2 cup Saffron threads 1/2 tsp Pistachios slivers1/2 cup Mawa 1 tbsp


  • 1. Take besan in a big bowl n add 4 tbsp milk n 4 tbsp ghee. 2. Mix it till besan gets crumbled. 3. Sieve crumbled besan n keep aside 4. Take 2 cups ghee in a thick bottom pan 5. Add besan n roast on a low flame till colour changes 6. Add mawa n roast till golden brown 7. In another pan add sugar n water make 2 strings consistency syrup.add sffron threads 8. Add sugar syrup in besan mixture . 9. Stir n mix it properly n stir till mixture slightly cools n thickens slightly. 10. Transfer the mixture in plates greased with ghee. . 11.Garnish with pistachios for 3 hours n cut into square pieces. Gujarati desert recipe prepared during festivals.
