Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 1 cups idli :rice flour


  • 1/4 cups poha (grind it)


  • 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds


  • 1/2 cups urad daal (grind it, with fenugreek seeds)


  • 1 pinch salt


  • 1/4 tsp limbu ka phool (citric acid)


  • 3 cups water (put till u get thick batter)


  • 1 tsp eno (fruit salt)


  • 1/2 cups sambhaar: toor daal (pigeon peas lentils)


  • 1 nos onion (chopped)


  • 1 nos tomato (chopped)


  • 1 tbsp uraad daal (black gram lentils)


  • 3 nos drumsticks (2" pcs)


  • 3 nos dried red chillies


  • 1/2 cups tamarind pulp


  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp lil chilli powder


  • 1 tbsp sambhaar masala


  • 1 tsp fenugreek seeds


  • 1 tsp garlic paste


  • 2-3 sprig curry leaves

Directions

  • Keep Idli Steamer On Boil, Grease Moulds N Keep Them Ready.
  • Mix Flours Together With Salt N Citric Acid, Now Add Water Till U Get Thick Batter.
  • Add Eno Fruit Salt N Mix Well, Scoop A Tbsp Or 2 N Pour On Each Mould
  • Keep The Mould In Steamer N Boil Idlis For Approx 10-15 Mins Till Done.
  • Remove The Mould N Let It Cool A Bit, Separete Idlis On Platter
  • When All Done Serve With Sambhar Sambhaar: Boil Soaked Toor Daal In Water, Salt N Turmeric Powder Til Soft N Mushy
  • Mek Vaghaar Of Urad Daal Let It Brown Up Den Add Mustard Seeds, Garlic, Fenugreek, Curry Leaves N Red Chillies Let It Splutter N Add Onions Saute Til Pinkish Color Den Add Tomatoes N Spices Saute Til Paste Like Add Drumsticks N Lil Water Cook It Til Done Den Add Tamarind Pulp N Toor Daal Wid A Cup O 2 Of Water Depending Hw Watery U Prefer
  • Let It Boil Once Remuv From Flame Garnish Wid Chopped Corriander Leaves N Serve.
