Ingredients

Serves 4

  • rice flour 1 cups

  • onions 5 nos

  • grated coconut 2 tsp

  • garlic cloves 4 nos

  • cumin seeds 1 tsp

  • sesame seeds 1 tsp

  • salt 1 pinch

  • water 3/4 cups

  • oil 300 ml

Directions

    In a blender add coconut ,small onions,garlic and cumin seeds. Make a paste.

    In a bowl add rice flour, coconut paste,salt , cumin seeds and water. Knead the dough.

    Add 1 tsp of oil to the dough. Add sesame seeds( i didn't use it bcz my kids doesn't like sesame seeds taste. So i skipped it).

    Take a small portion of dough and roll it like chapathi.

    Using a round cutter. Cut the roll and take the extras ,use them for the next roll.

    Take the round shape dough and place it under the index finger and join the edges to the top of the finger.

    Make all the dough same method and keep it separate

    Heat the oil and fry all the rolled dough. Cook till it turns golden brown color

    Our kuzhalappam is ready to serve!!
