Ingredients

  • Milk powder 1 cups

  • Maida 1 tbsp

  • ghee 2 tbsp

  • milk 1 tbsp

  • cardamom 4 nos

  • baking powder 1 tsp

  • ghee or oil 1 cups

  • For custard pudding : sugar 3 tbsp

  • milk 1/2 litre

  • Custard powder 3 tbsp

  • nut brittles 1/2 cups

Directions

    mix milk powder sugar Maida baking powder with ghee and some milk

  • 02

    Knead into a soft dough and shape into equal sized to balls without any cracks

  • 03

    heat oil or ghee in a kadai fry the gulab jamun balls in a medium flame

  • 04

    in a kadai boil water with sugar cardamom till forms one string consistency

  • 05

    soak the jamun balls in sugar syrup for 1 hour

  • 06

    for custard pudding mix milk with custard powder without any lumps in a bowl.

    boil the milk and add the custard mixture. Stir constantly.

    add sugar according to your taste and boil till the milk becomes thick

  • 09

    transfer to your pudding bowl. decorate with Gulab Jamun and crushed nut brittles.

    Serve chilled.
