In a bowl mix potatoes, cornflour,salt, green chillies and coriander. Mix well
In another bowl mix grated paneer with salt and chat masala . Take a small portion of the potato mixture and flatten it with the help of your palm.
Put little paneer filling in the centre and wrap from all the sides, making a small ball.
Repeat the procedure with rest of the potato and paneer mix. Make sure the ball surface is smooth.
Deep fry these balls in hot oil on medium flame. Strain on a kitchen towel and keep aside.
Mix all the assorted lentils and wash. Now boil them in a pressure cooker with water, salt , turmeric powder, onion, tomatoes and chillies.
Once cooked mix well. For tampering take ghee and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
Let them splutter. Add garlic and stir till golden. Now add curry leaves, chilli and sambhar masala and switch off the flame .
Pour the tampering over the hot dal and dunk in the fried dumplings .
Switch off the flame and serve hot .
