  • 300 gms wheat flour

  • 500 gms oil

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 200 gms sugar

  • 200 ml water

  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

  • 1 cups yellow pumpkin puree


  • Knead wheat flour with pumpkin puree, salt and 2 spoons oil
  • Cover it with a wet cloth for 30 minutes
  • After 30 minutes divide the dough into equal portions and make big balls.
  • Spread the balls as round Chapathi and cut them into rectangular shape.
  • Draw parallel lines on the rectangular chapathis without touching the edge of Chapathi.
  • Fold them twice and insert one end into the centre and pull it out
  • Now we will get leaf shape puri
  • Deep fry puris in oil
  • Prepare sugar syrup with sugar and water upto single thead consistency
  • Soak the fried puris in sugar syrup for 5 minutes
  • Arrange all puris in the plate and garnish them as your wish
  • Delicious yellow colour sweet puris are ready to serve
