  • 1 kgs maida

  • 300 gms vanaspathi (dalda)

  • 1 pinch salt as needed

  • 2 cups oil for frying

  • 1 cups for sugar syrup : sugar

  • 1/4 cups water


  • Sieve the maida flour, mix the salt with some water and sprinkle it in the flour.
  • Add water and knead the dough. Make it like chappathi dough.
  • Let it rest for half an hour.
  • Use new and clean comb to roll it to the shape. Take a small piece and roll it from the corner of the comb.
  • While rolling it use plastic sheets. Avoid news paper. It will stick to it.
  • Let it dry for sometime. Mean while heat the oil.
  • Deep fry the suzhiyan.
  • Make sugar syrup by adding 1cup sugar and 1/4 cup of water. Let the sugar dissolve. Boil it till 1 stingConsistency.
  • You can add the sugar syrup to all the suzhiyans too or you shall have some salty too.
