  • Maida 1 kgs

  • vanaspathi (dalda) 300 gms

  • salt as needed 1 pinch

  • oil for frying 2 cups

  • For sugar syrup : sugar 1 cups

  • water 1/4 cups

    Sieve the maida flour, mix the salt with some water and sprinkle it in the flour.

    Add water and knead the dough. Make it like chappathi dough.

    Let it rest for half an hour.

  • 04

    Use new and clean comb to roll it to the shape. Take a small piece and roll it from the corner of the comb.

    While rolling it use plastic sheets. Avoid news paper. It will stick to it.

    Let it dry for sometime. Mean while heat the oil.

    Deep fry the suzhiyan.

  • 08

    Make sugar syrup by adding 1cup sugar and 1/4 cup of water. Let the sugar dissolve. Boil it till 1 stingConsistency.

    You can add the sugar syrup to all the suzhiyans too or you shall have some salty too.
