  • 500 gm thin poha

  • 1 cup peanuts

  • 1/2 cup sliced coconut

  • 1 cup finely chopped green chilis

  • 1/2 cup roasted chana dal

  • 1 tsp mustard seeds

  • 2 tsp powder sugar

  • 1 tsp coriander powdet

  • 1 tsp cumin powder

  • 1 tsp salt or as per taste

  • 10-15 curry leaves

  • 1 tsp dry mango powder

  • 1-2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 2-3 tsp red chilli powder


  • Dry roast all poha at low medium flame.
  • In kadai heat oil for deep frying at medium hot
  • Firstly deep fry all peanuts till the golden colour and stir continuously
  • Deep fry coconut slice till light golden color at low flame
  • Deep fry chana dal till light golden color at low flame
  • Deep fry chopped green chilli till gets crispy texture
  • In different pan heat 4-5 spoon of oil
  • When oil gets hot add mustered seeds,wait till crackle
  • Then add turmeric powder, coriander seed powder, cumin seed powder, red chilli powder and roast it by stirring continuously
  • Then add curry leaves wait for leaves get crackle
  • Add peanuts, roastwd chana dal,green chilli,sliced coconut in the poha and mix it.
  • Now pour the prepared masala on the roasted poha and mix it well
  • Our thin poha Chivda is ready.
