  • 250 gm tomato

  • 250 gm mawa

  • 5tbsp sugar

  • 2tbsp ghee

  • 3tbsp splitted cashew nuts

  • 2-3 tbsp splitted pistachios and almonds

  • 1/2tbsp cardamom powder

  • 1/4 cup milk


  • Make a puree of tomato and strain the juice and crumble the mawa also.
  • Heat a pan and add ghee into it.
  • Then add the tomato juice and stir it continuously.
  • In the meantime mix the mawa with the milk and make a paste.
  • When the tomato become thick then add the mawa paste along with cashew nuts and cardamom powder and mix it well.
  • When the mixture gathers to the middle and leave from the pan then switch off the flame.
  • Cool it for some time and make a roll like shape with your hand and also roll it on splinted almonds and pistachios.
  • Your Mehbooba_e_Tamatar is now ready to serve.
  • You can serve them in an airtight container for 3-4days.
