  • 2 cups refine flour (maida)

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 cups ghee

  • 1/2 cups curd

  • 2 cups for sugar syrup : sugar

  • 1 cups water

  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder

  • 2 tsp chopped almonds and pistachio

  • 200 gms ghee or oil for frying


  • Sieve the refine flour and baking soda.
  • Add ghee and mix it with lightly hand till you get a crumble like texture.
  • Now add curd and make a dough with adding little water.
  • Keep aside for 15 minutes.
  • For making sugar syrup add sugar,cardamom powder and water boil it till 2 thread sugar syrup is ready.
  • Now divide the dough in equal size balls and press it in the middle with your finger.
  • Heat oil in a wok on midium flame and deep fry these balls till they turn golden brown in colour on low midium flame.
  • Then add these fried balls in sugar syrup and let them soak for 15 minutes.
  • Now take them out in plate and garnish with chopped almonds and pistachio.
