Dry roast flattened rice in a dekchi
Remove in a bowl once done and keep aside
Heat oil in a same dekhi
Add mustard and cumin seeds and saute
Add chopped green chillies and saute again
Add curry leaves and saute
Add asafoetida
Add groundnuts and saute for about 5 to 10 minutes
Add cashew nuts and saute again for 5 minutes
Add dry coconut and saute again
Once dry coconut turns golden brown in color add turmeric powder
Add salt and give it a mix
Add dry roasted flattened rice and mix well
Remove in a serving bowl
Garnish with some gathiya
