Heat ghee in deep bottom vessel
Add besan and mix well. Saute until aromatic
Add orange juice and mix well
Add orange zest , this is optional as this will render slight bitter taste to barfi
Add sugar and mix well. Depending on sweetness of juice adjust the sweetness required for barfi
Add khoya and mix well. Cook until mixture leaves side of the pan
Add nuts and food colouring. Mix well
Transfer mixture to prepared greased dish. Level evenly
Top the mixture with nuts and rose petals
Refrigerate until set. Slice and serve
