Apple Sabudana kheer

  • 1 cups soaked sabudana

  • 1 nos apple

  • 1 litre boiled milk

  • 5 tbsp sugar

  • 1/2 cups chopped dry fruits (cashew nuts, raisins,pistachios)

  • 1/2 tbsp sugar for caramelization

  • 1/2 tbsp cardamom powder

  • 1 tbsp ghee

  • 1/2 cups water


  • Wash and soak sabudana overnight.
  • In a pan add ghee and sugar for caramelization.
  • Then add the water and milk into it.
  • When it boil for sometime then add sabudana into it.
  • In the mean time peel the apple and grate it.
  • Then saute it for sometime in a pan till it becomes dry.
  • Then add the apple with the milk along with the dry fruits.
  • When it becomes thick then add the cardamom powder and mix well.
  • Chill it for sometime by placing it in the refrigerator.
  • Now the Apple Sabudana Kheer is ready and serve it in chilled condition by garnishing dome pistachios.
