Ingredients

Serves 4

  • masoor dal soaked for 8 hours 5 cups

  • black salt or common salt 1 tsp

  • oil for frying 2 cups

Directions

    Soak masoor dal overnight or 8 hours

  • 02

    Wask it twice and spread it on a cotton cloth. Let it dry.

    Heat oil and deep fry masoor dal.

  • 04

    Remove it on a tissue paper and remove the excess oil.

    Add some salt and toss it gently.

  • 06

    The crunchy savory madoor dal is ready to eat.
