Ingredients

Serves 5

  • Black Channa 1 cups

  • Oil 1 tsp

  • Ginger sliced 3-4 piece

  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp

  • Urad dal 1/2 tsp

  • Green chilli splitted 2 nos

  • Curry leaves 2 sprig

  • Salt 2 tsp

Directions

    Wash and soak the black Channa for 6 hrs or overnight.

  • 02

    Now pressure cook the Channa with enough water to soak, salt and Ginger. Give it upto 5 whistles.

    Once the pressure comes down, filter the water from Channa and take out the ginger pieces.

  • 04

    In a pan, add oil when hot add mustard seeds, urad dal, green chilli and Curry leaves and once they splutters add the cooked Channa.

    Now the Sundal is ready to eat.

  • 06

    If you want you can add onion while tempering and after taking from heat also grated coconut can be added.
