Ingredients

  • 1 cups dahi (yogurt)


  • 1 cups besan (gram flour)


  • 1 pinch salt


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tbsp ginger/garlic/green chilli paste


  • 1 tsp lemon juice


  • 1/2 tbsp oil


  • 1 pinch soda bicarbonate


  • 3 1/2 tbsp sooji (semolina)


  • 1/4 tsp chaat masala


  • 1 tbsp sugar

Directions

  • kip a big pot for steaming,
  • mix ol ingredients together to smooth batter, wen water strts boiling add 1 n hlf tsp of ENO fruit salt in batter n stir wel, pour on a greased smol thhali, sprinkle chilli powder.
  • kip for steaming til done.
  • wen done cut squares
  • Garnish: mek baghar of mustard n cummin seeds, sesame n green chillies chopped with curry leaves pour over dhokra sprinkle 2tbsp grated coconut mixed wid lil sugar n salt, finally garnish wid chopped corriander leaves.
