Ingredients

  • dahi (yogurt) 1 cups

  • besan (gram flour) 1 cups

  • salt 1 pinch

  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

  • ginger/garlic/green chilli paste 1 tbsp

  • lemon juice 1 tsp

  • oil 1/2 tbsp

  • soda bicarbonate 1 pinch

  • sooji (semolina) 3 1/2 tbsp

  • chaat masala 1/4 tsp

  • sugar 1 tbsp

    kip a big pot for steaming,

    mix ol ingredients together to smooth batter, wen water strts boiling add 1 n hlf tsp of ENO fruit salt in batter n stir wel, pour on a greased smol thhali, sprinkle chilli powder.

    kip for steaming til done.

    wen done cut squares

    Garnish: mek baghar of mustard n cummin seeds, sesame n green chillies chopped with curry leaves pour over dhokra sprinkle 2tbsp grated coconut mixed wid lil sugar n salt, finally garnish wid chopped corriander leaves.
