Cheese Mayo Vegetable Pasta

Serves : 4
  • 2 cups pasta

  • 4 cups water

  • 2 nos small tomatoes chopped

  • 1 nos capsicum chopped

  • 50 gms green peas

  • 2 nos ornage carrots chopped

  • 1 nos onion chopped

  • 50 gms sweetcorn

  • 1 tsp cumin or mustard seeds

  • 4 tbsp eggless mayonnise

  • 1 tbsp pasta masala

  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp red chilli flakes

  • 1 tbsp mixed herbs or oregano

  • 100 gms grated cheese

  • 1 tbsp cooking oil

  • 1 tbsp salt


  • Take water in a pan and boil it.
  • Once the water gets boiled , add pasta to it and salt as per your taste.
  • On medium flame , boil the pasta for 10-15mins till it becomes soft and fluffy. Keep stirring and checking it in between.
  • Once the pasta is boiled, strain the remaining water in another pan, and rinse the boiled pasta with cold water. So that pasta doesn't get sticky.
  • Take a cooking pan, add 1 tablespoon oil to it. Once the oil gets warm, add cumin/mustard seeds and chopped carrots, capsicum,peas,tomatoes,onion and corn.
  • On low flame, Saute the vegetables well and cover it with a lid for 8-10 mins until they become soft. Add salt to taste. Dont let it burn, keep checking in between.
  • Now, add pasta masala and tomato ketchup to the vegetables. Mix it well.
  • Add the boiled pasta, grated cheese and mayonnise to this mixture, mix all well.
  • Now, add the black pepper , chilli flakes and mixed herbs or oregano and mix the pasta nicely.
  • Your pasta is ready to be served. You can add more mixed herbs and ketchup from the top if you like.
