Ingredients

Serves 4

  • full fat milk 12 litre

  • sweet potato 120 gms

  • sugar adjust 3-4 tbsp

  • Cardamom 1/4 tsp

  • Ghee 2 tsp

  • cashews 8-10 nos

  • saffron strands 5-6 nos

  • rose water optional 1/4 tsp

Directions

    Pressure cook sweet potato until just done. Dont overcook else it will be mushy peel and grate sweet potato. Keep it aside

    Heat milk in a vessel and bring to boil

  • 03

    Add grated sweet potato and mix well

  • 04

    Add saffron and mix well. Cook until milk reduces to half

  • 05

    Add sugar and mix well

  • 06

    Add cardamom and rose water. Mix well

  • 07

    Heat ghee in a pan and fry cashews until golden brown

  • 08

    Add nuts to kheer and mix. Serve kheer warm or cold
