For the palak pakodas: Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and knead into a soft dough without using any water.
Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a round ball.
Heat and grease the appe pan with one drop of oil in each cavity.
Arrange the pakodas in appe pan on medium flame for 7 to 8 minutes, keep turning from time to time . Keep aside.
For the kadhi: Combine the curd, besan and 1 cup of water in a deep bowl, mix well with a churner and keep aside.
Heat the ghee in a deep non-stick pan and add the cumin seeds, mustard seeds .
When the seeds crackle, add the asafoetida, curry leaves, sauté on a medium flame for 10 seconds .
Add the curd besan mixture, coriander powder, turmeric powder, green chilli paste, and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 4 minutes, while stirring continuously .
For serving :Add the palak pakodas to the hot kadhi and mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
Drizzle some melted ghee and garnish with coriander leaves
Serve with hot rice. Its a complete meal, vegetables not required. Serve immediately.
